As the real estate market is adjusting, so are the buyers and sellers. Sellers are starting to expect lower or contingent offers. Buyers are weighing their options: seize an opportunity when it presents itself, or wait for a potential price reduction and risk missing out. The truth of the matter is that we still have a shortage of inventory and lots of buyers are still without homes. We are encouraging buyers to pursue homes that fit their search criteria, as long as the price is right. As a result of the low inventory and the higher interest rates, the rental market is also still extremely hot. Rentals are in high demand, and whether they like it or not, tenants may be opting to stay longer than they originally planned.
Since this past Monday was Memorial Day, we had showing requests from out of town buyers and we received a strong, full offer on our beautiful oceanfront 4th Street condo in Encinitas from out of state buyers.
We are preparing 4 new listings that we are excited to share with you soon! A beautiful home in La Costa, a unique property on multiple acres in Olivenhain, a great "fixer" in Encinitas, and a wonderful investment in Vista on a .34 acre lot.
We also decided it was time to get the team together for a lunch date this week. After taking tests to make sure we were all safe to get together, we had a lovely luncheon at the Nourani residence. We got to exchange notes on the market, talk business, and spend quality time together - including baby Sabrina who decided to snooze through the whole lunch!
We hope you enjoy the last few weeks of spring, and are looking forward to a beautiful San Diego summer!
The NEDA NOURANI Team serves San Diego's North County Coastal real estate markets, including Encinitas, Leucadia, Olivenhain, La Costa, Carlsbad, Solana Beach, Del Mar, La Jolla, and beyond!
